Farm Inn Wedding: Michelle & Alwyn

I met Alwyn and Michelle well over 2 years ago at a coffee shop on the east rand. At the time I could already tell that they genuinely loved each other and that they were serious about their faith and their relationship.

I met Alwyn and Michelle well over 2 years ago at a coffee shop somewhere in JHB. At the time I could already tell that they genuinely loved each other & that they were serious about their faith & their relationship. Alwyn is a salt-of-the-earth gentleman with solid values and real character, which I pretty certain will stand him in good stead for the years to come. Michelle has a balance & a grace that is the mark of a well grounded gal, which I suppose most women have by the time they get married! Their wedding was a warm & sincere affair, which I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of. There were the usual wedding stresses, but somehow it seemed trivial in light of the overall authenticity of the whole celebration. Here are a few images from their big day.

Engagement Session: Dee & Malini

I met Dee & Malini over coffee after learning that they loved my work & felt that I would add a different flavour to their traditional Indian wedding from a photographic point of view. Honestly, I was quite surprised, but also very excited at the prospect. Indian weddings are known to be very vibrant, & full of colour - a photographers dream.

Honestly, I was quite surprised, but also very excited at the prospect. Indian weddings are known to be very vibrant, & full of colour - a photographers dream. For their engagement session, they wanted something slightly more sedate & classic, which I hopefully delivered upon. The late afternoon light played into our hands, and gave the shoot the romantic edge I was after. I am so looking forward to their celebration in December!

Editorial - Nautical Theme

I was privileged enough to collaborate with two great gals at the Cape Royal Yacht Club.

Gemma & Colin

Gemma & Colin hail from England and Zimbabwe respectively, but somehow met in Zambia, where they both live and work. Their extraordinary story culminated in a marvellous celebration of their love at the stunning Mosaic Sanctuary near Stanford.

Jen & Richard

A superb spring weekend wedding celebration in the tranquil coastal town of Paternoster...
