Berry Farming
I recently completed an editorial commission for Haygrove Heaven, an incredibly successful South African berry farm, based in the Overberg. They happen to grow export quality berries for mainly the UK market, and for Woolworths locally. I was asked to cover the general workings and settings of the farm sites in Hermanus, George and Amajuba. Wow... what an experience! Aside from the behind the scenes workings of an unusual farming genre, I also got to meet some extraordinary folks along the way. I hope that a selection of the images tells some of the story...
